     Ken Smith is entrepreneur, consultant, mentor and coach focused on investing time, talent and treasures in a select group of businesses and organizations. He is the President of Etcetera Edutainment, a Carnegie Mellon University spin-out focused on developing video games for workplace learning and coaching, and an active investor in several other Pittsburgh-based start-up enterprises.  He also serves as adjunct faculty for the Entrepreneurship Department at Grove City College and the Pittsburgh Fellows through the Trinity School of Ministry. 
      In 2009, Ken completed leading the post-acquisition integration of H. B. Maynard and Company, Inc. with Accenture LLC. Prior to the acquisition, Ken had served as CEO of Maynard, a 100+ person, Pittsburgh-based management consulting firm, focused on helping its clients to improve workforce performance. In his 25 years with Maynard, Ken advised hundreds of companies in the retail, distribution, manufacturing and service sectors. His expertise centers on the application of industrial engineering and lean manufacturing techniques for holistic workforce performance improvement. 
      He is a 1984 graduate of Grove City College where he received an Alumni Achievement Award and currently serves as on the Advisory Council for The Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is a Fellow with the Institute of Industrial Engineers and a Charter Member in The Indus Entrepreneurs, the largest global entrepreneurship support organization. Ken is an engaged and active board member or advisor with several Pittsburgh-area non-profits, including Coalition for Christian Outreach (Chairman of the Board), Family Guidance, Pittsburgh Fellows, YoungLife River Region, and Deep Springs, a clean water ministry to Haiti, as well as serving in a leadership capacity with his church. Ken, and his wife Amy, along with their four children, Morgan, Korey, Wyatt and Grant, live in the Pittsburgh suburb of Mt. Lebanon.
